New PTA elected

Today was our first General Assembly of parents for the 2014 school year. We were pleased that there was a very strong turn out with over 80 people in attendance. The purpose of the meeting was five-fold:

• report on the opening of the school year
• elect new parents members to serve on the PTA committee
• provide tips for what parents can do to support their child's success
• discuss concerns and answer questions
• give parents a chance to conference with teachers about their child's performance​

It was a lively and fruitful discussion. We thank all parents and teachers who participated. We are also pleased to announce the members of the new PTA committee, whose names are below.
