School inspectors from the Ministry of Education came to visit today for the first time since our opening. It was a very positive visit and we earned a score of 94.5 out of a possible 100 points. The inspectors complimented our professionalism, organization, and lovely compound. They said that we are the best school they've seen in Kicukiro district. We were thrilled at the feedback and grateful to strengthen our reputation and partnership with the Ministry.

Primary Leaving Exam results were just released this week and all P6 candidates from 2013 passed! They performed well, especially in English. All but two of our students received a division I rating and the others got division II. One of our students even scored the highest possible marks, an aggregate of 5. We are so proud of her and all our students! Congratulations
It has been a great first week at Umubano Primary School. We are thrilled to have nearly 70 new students who joined us this year. They have adapted well, with veteran students as their guide, and most already look smart in school uniforms! Welcome to all - new and returning students - and here's to a great year ahead!
