UA PRIMARY

Our Primary section focuses on providing quality provision of the Rwandan curriculum subjects: English, Kinyarwanda, French, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science and COCA. From P1-P6, students study in English and take part in a range of practical activities involving independent and group challenges. Students learn how to problem solve and apply the knowledge they gain in a variety of contexts to ensure they retain these skills and competencies for life.

Stimulting learning environment
Our Award winning school, designed by MASS architectures provides the perfect setting for learning. Bright aerated classrooms, filled with international and local resources ensure that are students have the best environment in which to learn. |
Inclusive education
We believe that students should be given individual care according to their needs. To support all students, teachers provide a differentiated curriculum with different levels of challenge to support learners. Additional teaching support is frequently given to individual students or groups, to support their learning needs and ensure they make as much progress as possible. |
ICT
Our school has embraced the use of ICT as an aid to learning. Our students use educational learning applications to support their curriculum knowledge acquisition. They also have access to over 80 e-books on the school tablets. |
Pupil's voice
Students' opinions are highly valued at UA. Circle meetings are led by students' leaders, during which all students participate in weekly discussions about important issues that affect UA students, Rwandans and the wider world. |

Holiday Club
During the long holiday, a Summer camp is held at UA for all local children (not just our students) P1-P5. This camp, which costs 10,000rwf per week gives children the opportunity to learn new skills and games at school. Whilst it is educational, the emphasis is on having fun and gaining problem solving skills

- Registration fee: Rwf 20, 000
- Tuition in Lower Primary (P1-P4): 100, 000frw per term
- Tuition in Upper primary (P5 –P6): 130, 000frw per term
- Breakfast + Lunch : Rwf 75, 000 per term
- Breakfast only : Rwf 30, 000 per term (Not compulsory)
- Lunch only : Rwf 50, 000 per term
