Creative Arts integration

At Umubano Academy, we believe that integrating Creative Arts in learning and teaching, through Educational Theatre, boosts students’ achievement. Students can sing, dance, act, create different visual works to express themselves or to apply new knowledge, skills and attitudes they have already acquired in all subjects. With these Primary 2 students, I have experienced how this highly engaging approach to teaching and learning develops critical thinking, innovation, cooperation, public speaking and confidence. Art is people’s life. Integrating it into our lessons is connecting the content to everyday life situations. Thank you so much Roberta Minotti for introducing this to Umubano Academy.
